Leading travel reward program, Asia Miles, has just taken on its first and only telecommunication partner in the Philippines, Globe Telecom, Inc.
The new strategic partnership allows Globe Platinum subscribers to avail of 40,000 mileage credits as a reward option for every P120,000 worth of usage, or upon renewal of their membership every two years, whichever comes first. This is equivalent to a round trip business class ticket to Hong Kong.
This serves as an alternative to the traditional rewards such as mobile phones upgrades and bill rebates that subscribers currently enjoy and makes Globe Platinum the first in the industry to offer mileage credits as part of its loyalty rewards program.
"Globe Platinum now has the widest reward options available because apart from the regular Handphone upgrades, they also have the option of converting these rewards to bill Rebates," Gerry Ablaza, Globe Telecom President and CEO pointed out. "I believe we’re the only one in the industry to provide this service."
Other Globe Platinum benefits include personalized customer servicing, priority handling in business centers, a dedicated Platinum hotline, discounts and privileges in over 240 partner establishments, and free use of international roaming handsets, among others.
